AGTの貫通路にドアがないのはなぜ？

今回取り上げる話題は

AGTの貫通路にドアがないのはなぜ？

です。

鉄道車両の貫通路には通常、ドアが ありますが、鬱陶しいと感じたことは ありませんか。

一方、AGT車両の貫通路にはドアが ありません。 地下鉄を除き、貫通路のドアは 必ず設置しなくてはならないというもの ではないようですが、 扉があることで、貫通路付近の 風の流れが防げるので、特に冬の寒さが 抑えられるとか、 連結部の幌から入ってくる騒音を遮断 できるなど、車内環境の向上のために 設置しているようです。

地下鉄の場合、貫通路のドアは トンネル内火災発生時の延焼防止や 煙を遮断する目的で、必ず設置されます ので、3駅分が地下鉄になっている アストラムラインの車両には AGT で唯一、貫通路のドアが設置されて います。

AGT の車両は、気密性良く作られている ので、貫通路付近で車内の空気の流れや 騒音の侵入が気になることはありません。

Why are there no doors on AGT

gangways?

The gangways of railcars usually

have doors, but have you ever

found them to be depressing?

On the other hand, AGT trains

do not have doors on their

gangways.

Except for subways, it does not

seem that gangway doors must be

installed. However, it seems that

doors are installed to improve the

interior environment, for

example, by preventing the flow

of wind around the gangway,

which reduces coldness especially

in winter, or by blocking noise

coming in through the hood of

the coupling section.

In the case of subways, gangway

doors are always installed to

prevent the spread of fire or to

block smoke in the event of a fire

in a tunnel, and Astram Line

trains, which have three stations

in the subway system, are the only

AGT trains to have gangway

doors.

AGT cars are built to be airtight,

so airflow and noise intrusion

inside the car near the gangway is

not a concern.
