今回とり上げる話題は、

ジオラマのような路線

です。

以前、高架以外にも

地下や地上の軌道をもつ

AGT 路線があるという話を しました。

千葉県佐倉市にある

日本の AGT で3番目に古い

ユーカリが丘線は、路線長4.1km

のなかに

高架あり、

地上あり、

切土あり、

トンネルありの

バラエティに富んだ路線です。

山万というこの地域を開発した

デベロッパーが自己資金で建設し、

40年間も運営を続けてきている

AGTです。

私鉄の AGT はこの他に

西武鉄道の山口線があるのみで、

珍しい存在です。

ユーカリが丘線は、

テニスのラケットのような形をした 単線4.1km、6駅のシンプルな路線 です。

公園駅を過ぎると、

古くからある農地や神社を囲む

森がつづき、四季折々の彩が楽し

めます。

これを過ぎると中層のマンション、

そして戸建ての住宅街が続きます。

終点近くでは

タワーマンションが立ち並び、

1周約14分の旅で

様々な景色が楽しめる

ジオラマのような路線です。

Diorama-like lines.

In addition to elevated lines, some

of Japan's AGT lines have

underground or aboveground

tracks.

The Yukarigaoka Line, the third

oldest AGT line in Japan, located

in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture,

is a 4.1 km long line with a wide

variety of tracks, including

elevated, aboveground, cutting,

and tunnel tracks.

The AGT was built with its own

funds by Yamaman, the developer

who developed the area, and has

been in operation for 40 years.

The only other AGT on a private

railway is Seibu Railway's

Yamaguchi Line, which is a rarity.

The Yukarigaoka Line is a simple,

single-track 4.1 km, 6-station line

shaped like a tennis racket.

After passing Koen Station, the

area is lined with old farmland

and forests surrounding shrines,

where one can enjoy the changing

colors of the four seasons.

After this station, a series of mid-

rise condominiums and detached

houses can be seen in the

residential area.

Near the end of the line, tower condominiums stand in a row, and the line is like a diorama where you can enjoy a variety of views in a 14-minute trip around the track.
